It has been developed to clarify our procedures for collecting, using, and sharing your personal data in connection with our text messaging services. While this specific policy relates to only text messaging and no personal data is ever collected beyond a cell phone number via text message we have included privacy policies regarding data that is gathered once you click the link to be directed to the P+ platform. When you engage with our text messaging services, we collect the following data:
Your mobile phone number
Your name (optional)
Your email address (optional)
The name and contact details of the merchant you are communicating with
Your preference regarding future text message marketing communications

a. Payment Processing via Text Messages: Our primary function is to facilitate payments through text messages with a link to the payment portal on our proprietary P+ platform. This includes sending payment requests and receiving payments securely via text messages.
b. Identity Verification, KYC, and AML Compliance: We also use text messaging for identity verification, Know Your Customer (KYC), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance when required for BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) compliance. This applies to both our merchant customers, their customers, and agents who work with us.
c. Marketing via Text Messages: Additionally, we allow merchants to market to customers using our Payment Platform P+ through text messages. Merchants may send promotional messages related to their services.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your personal information as follows:
For payment processing, we share your data with the merchants you are corresponding with via text messaging to facilitate secure payments on our proprietary P+ platform.

For marketing via text messages, we enable merchants to communicate with their customers. Merchants and Payments Plus are bound by the Twilio privacy policy, available at Twilio Privacy Policy
All merchants, agents, and any consumer that agrees to KYC and AML compliance is also bound and protected by FFB Privacy Policy and FFB Privacy Notice privacy notice as well as FFB Copa Privacy Policy when a minor is making a payment facilitated by Payments Plus.

4. Your Choices
To unsubscribe via email, click on the “unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of this privacy policy page.
To opt in for text message marketing communications, this option will be offered either verbally or online.
To unsubscribe from text messages, simply reply with “stop” to any text message you receive.

5. Unsubscribe Option for Merchants
Merchants who subscribe to our text messaging services have the ability to unsubscribe at any time. They can do so by contacting us at (888) 538-3391.
For instance, if a merchant initially opts to receive text message marketing updates from us but later decides against it, they can reach out to us and unsubscribe from our text message marketing list.
We are committed to ensuring that merchants can unsubscribe from our text message marketing list at any time. Failure to provide this option may result in violations of relevant laws and regulations.
6. 10DLC Registration
Payments Plus follows all 10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) registration requirements and uses only registered numbers and campaigns within the P+ platform to ensure compliance with industry standards.
